Those who love to crunch numbers will notice ATOJ Ride has reached it’s twelfth mark! Not just a Roman numeral but a 12 month long friendship for the sentimentalists and a complete journey, circling the sun together!!! As Facebook calls it Friendversary, it is this very essence that brought us all together to Kg Sg Jeram, a picturesque village by the river.

While today’s ride sees many old timers, we also welcomed some lean boys to the group. All young and gorgeous, they made Claudine feel light and giddy; and before long, their names were soon forgotten!!!
A most interesting rider was Ban Pang who braved the ride with a Brompton!!! While he was accompanied by 3 of his friends, Pat, Florence and another man whose name was lost to Claudine, none of them were crazy enough to risk a small wheels challenge! He told Claudine he regretted his bike pick for he had never rode so hard in his life!!!
A tough cookie on a 16 inched wheels bike, he is a master in taking life at a slower pace. Flicking out his drawing pad at Pekan Nanas, his nimble fingers worked deftly to capture a local scene!!! Somehow, he reminded Claudine on a female version of Edna Mode from The Incredibles!

Back at Pan Kobo Cafe, there was a small celebration to toast those born in the month of December. It seems the primitive instincts to reproduce are hardwired in human beings. Just like the birds and the bees, spring time is the still the best time to make babies!!!
