Claudine and VT arrived half an hour later, after stopping for lunch at Restoran Rompin Baru. The fish meat bihun was delicious but ridiculously expensive at RM60 for 2 pax!

Day 2 - Short ride to Fish Farm

Breakfast as usual, behind TMG Mart.
Claudine and VT met Andreas at their favourite coffee shop in Kuala Rompin town. He had finished his morning ride and was having breakfast with his wife when Claudine decided to chat him up. |

| Under the shelter are tanks for the baby fishes but Andreas has emptied them out as he slowly phased out fish farming in favour of palm oil plantation. The house next to the shelter is for his workmen. |

| When a coconut falls from a tree and is left undisturbed, the coconut starts to grow. Inside the hard shell the inner seed begins to absorb the water, transforming into a coconut apple or sprouted coconut. The coconut apple has a fluffy, cotton like texture which is sweet and juicy. The coconut apple provides essential nutrients to the growing embryo within the seed which enables it to sprout and grow into a tree |
